Somethings you may not know:
I was born 1958 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My education was at
Royal College
Colombo.
I had best results in Royal for G.C.E. (O/L) exams in 1974 with 6 Distinctions
amd 2 Credit passes and was placed fifth in all island ranking.
I played 1st XI Hockey for the school and then for Colombo Schools and finally
for the Sri Lanka Schools team at the 17th senior nationals in 1976.
During school days I played guitar & keyboards for quite a few bands as a
stand-in and mainly with the school boy band which we formed from college.
Terrific times...
I left college in 1977 to take up a sea career as a Cadet with the
Ceylon Shipping Corporation
