  Tammanna_1979_opt.jpg - This old Poloroid was taken after a New Year's day celebration on the tanker Tammanna in 1979. I was 4th Officer by then. I am on the right in a Kurta which was my favourite attire at the time - even now. In the middle is Hasitha Jayasuiya who did a couple of voyages on the Tammanna. On the left is the unique character 5th Engineer Barr Kumar Kulasingham who now lives in Australia.
